We learned from the above statement related to the arrest of Vannesa Rosales (see Campaign newsletter report 13-01-21) that the mother of the girl who was raped – who went to Vannesa Rosales for help to obtain abortion pills for the child – was arrested at the same time as Vannesa Rosales. The girls’ mother was also charged and held in detention for several days before both of them were released to remain at home until trial.
