After weeks of surveillance, seven people were arrested by police for allegedly conducting abortion procedures and selling abortion pills in Parañaque City, the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) reported on 27 June 2023. They will be charged with the illegal practice of medicine and violation of the Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act.
