Rebecca Ramos writes: “Last year definitely shook the world to its very core. But neither Covid-19 and the complex political context nor conservative groups could stop our fight for reproductive justice in Mexico. GIRE (Group for Information about Reproductive Choice) accompanied individuals and families in their search for justice in 2020. We created new alliances with diverse organizations and activists to strengthen the feminist movement in our country. We continued monitoring legislative and policy changes and proposals regarding reproductive rights in Mexico, and happily celebrated some of these reforms. We invite you to join with us as we continue to push for reproductive justice, although the path seems more sinuous than ever.” Watch the video for a summary of their work and activities in English.
