Mabel Bianco, one of the founders and president of the Fundación para el Estudio y Investigación de la Mujer (FEIM) in Argentina in 1989, was recognised as “Woman of the Decade” in the awards given by the World Economic Forum in Argentina in October 2023, in honour of her tireless fight for the reproductive rights of women and the legalisation of abortion.
