Traditionally, each year, the week of 28 May, the International Day of Action for Women’s Health, is the week we make the first call to action for 28 September, International Safe Abortion Day. And here it is!! It is also time to call a meeting of the growing number of international and regional groups and networks who have been organising for this day since 2011.
Next week, I shall write to everyone (regional and international groups/networks) who I know are part of the steering group and I hope you-all will let us-all know if you want to be involved again. If you want to be involved and don’t get an email, please write to me. When there’s an agreed list, we can call an online meeting to choose a theme, hashtags and slogans, arrange for someone to do visuals, start a toolkit, and make plans.
