Dr Caroline Gannon, a paediatric pathologist, has resigned over NI’s abortion law in relation to fatal fetal abnormality. Northern Irish women with a diagnosis of serious fetal anomaly who seek an abortion are forced to travel outside Northern Ireland for it.
