This is a collaborative handbook between the CommonHealth-Coalition for Reproductive Health and Safe Abortion and the Centre for Justice, Law and Society at Jindhal Global Law School in India.
This handbook examines landmark court rulings in Canada, Colombia, Mexico, South Korea, and Thailand, tracing how Constitutional Courts have safeguarded reproductive autonomy, advanced sexual and reproductive health rights (SRHR), and shaped access to abortion — all within an anti-carceral framework.
The launch, which took place on 20 August, featured a panel conversation with activists and scholars from across the five countries who contributed to the report. They shared insights into the legal reasoning, advocacy strategies, and broader movements that paved the way for these judicial milestones.
[Editor’s Note: There is no information that I could find on where to order the book or find it online, nor how to listen to the launch. If you have this information, can you please share it with me at info@safeabortionwomensright.org. Thanks! When/if we receive this, we will include it in the next newsletter and in the report about the book on the Campaign website on the most recent News Archive page at www.safeabortionwomensright.org.]
