YoSHAN described their activities to mark International Safe Abortion Day, 28 September 2019, as follows:
“How does your September 28 look like? Ours looks like this: YoSHAN, a youth-led feminist organization in Nepal, conducted a sensitization program on Safe Abortion for Nursing Students, led by our Youth Champion Ashmita Thapa. YoSHAN is also celebrating September 28 through various art forms, such as acting, painting and poetry. We will be sharing the voices of young advocates through digital platforms where they will be demanding their right to safe, legal and stigma-free abortion services.”
