In this video, Vinoj Manning, CEO of the Ipas Development Foundation in India,
introduces a workshop for 140 trainers of safe abortion care from 12 states in
India who met together. The workshop was training of trainers for health
workers close to the community in provision of safe abortion care. Dr Sumita
Ghosh, Deputy Commissioner for Maternal Health, Ministry of Health & Family
Welfare Government of India, also spoke and reiterated the government’s commitment to ensuring quality sexual
and reproductive health and safe abortion services.
