On 28 September, Ibis Reproductive Health are excited to launch a redesigned laterabortion.org, as the Later Abortion Initiative. There are limited resources available about later abortion and a critical need for an evidence-based, up-to-date source of unbiased information. Laterabortion.org will fill this gap, serving as a user-friendly and current informational resource on the topic.
The website features:
• an interactive map displaying service availability and legislative restrictions;
• a comprehensive research database;
• a repository of media and commentary about later abortion;
• synopses of related topics such as clinical protocols, women’s and clinicians’ experiences, and a breakdown of the myths surrounding later abortion care.
We hope this resource will spread awareness of and motivate support for this critical reproductive health service.
