CEPIA joined various organizations and collectives in a powerful mobilization at Praça XV in Rio de Janeiro, around the date of 28 September. In celebration of the Latin American and Caribbean Day of Struggle for the Decriminalization and Legalization of Abortion. The space was filled with activities that integrated information, art, poetry, music, workshops and fundamental conversations for the defence of reproductive rights in Brazil.
During the event, candidates for city council reaffirmed their commitment to the cause by signing the Democracy and Reproductive Justice letter, strengthening the importance of political support in the struggle to decriminalize abortion. The day was one of inspiration and resistance, renewing our strength to move forward in this urgent and necessary struggle.
