Threads That Hold Us: Resourcing Reproductive Justice and Feminist Futures, April 28, 9:30 – 11:00 am, Room 220.
At a time when less than 2% of global philanthropic funding reaches feminist movements, and even less supports abortion and reproductive justice, this session creates space to reflect, strategize, and build together.
Through an interactive fishbowl conversation grounded in participatory methodologies, we’ll explore how movements are navigating scarcity while cultivating resilience, collaboration, and collective abundance. Together, we’ll share practical approaches to resourcing, strengthening partnerships, and sustaining long-term feminist futures.
With speakers and co-hosts from across the ecosystem:
✨ Aparna Kamath from Global Challenges Canada
✨ Dana Zhang from RESURJ
✨ Laila Alodaat from Prospera – The International Network of Women’s Funds
✨ Christine Wambua from inroads
This session will also invite participants to co-create a Feminist Commitment Wall, grounding our collective reflections into tangible actions for accountability, solidarity, and resource mobilization beyond WD2026.
