POLAND – PLEASE SIGN THE APPEAL!!! Enough of punishment for assisting in abortion!

CEDAW, the UN Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women, is demanding that Poland impose a moratorium on the application of criminal laws on abortion assistance, including a halt to the arrest, investigation and prosecution of those who support women in need of abortion care. The introduction of this change does not require an amendment to the law in Poland, but only a corresponding change in the practice of the prosecutor’s office and the police. These are the responsibility of the Ministry of Justice and the former Commissioner for Human Rights, Adam Bodnar, who heads it.

Therefore, with the consent of Justyna, our heroine, I ask you to support our call for a moratorium on punishment for assisting in abortion. Let neither her nor our effort, stress or sacrifice be in vain. After all, as Justyna said just a few weeks ago: “Helping another person who needs help should never be a crime, whether it is giving someone a cup of soup, a warm jacket or abortion pills.

PLEASE SIGN THE APPEAL!!! Enough of punishment for assisting in abortion!

And thanks for still working with us!
