Prof. Ben Twinomugisha is an advocate for safe and legal
abortion in Uganda. He delivered the keynote address at the multi-sectoral
dialogue on #TeenagePregnancy #UnsafeAbortion and #MaternalHealth in Uganda
for International Safe Abortion Day. He said that the strongest opposition to #Abortion comes from
the Roman Catholic Church. #MaternalHealth is
protected under the national, regional and international laws. The #MaputoProtocol, which has
been ratified by Uganda, is one of them.
