The Trench Project aims to monitor the public debate on abortion in
Brazil. Its communication arm continuously monitors various news channels,
blogs and websites carrying news, reports and articles on abortion. They make a
compilation of all articles that have the word “abortion” in the title or body
of the text of the article and categorise them as favourable, opposed or
neutral. In addition, they look at articles focusing on abortion internationally
and related articles.
