The Planned Parenthood Association of Ghana (PPAG) has rolled out a Comprehensive Abortion Care Accountability programme to curb unsafe abortion. Project Director Owusu Banahene notes unsafe abortion is a leading cause of maternal mortality in Ghana, and that stigma and personal values have contributed immensely to unsafe abortion in the country.
