EuroNGOs are calling on civil society organizations around the world to sign a statement applauding the Global Fundraising Initiative, launched by Dutch government, which the Dutch have named She Decides. The aim is to raise funds to offset the loss of funding as a result of the Global Gag Rule, and to invite other like-minded governments and allies to contribute to the fund and join in the fight to maintain funding for contraceptive services, post-abortion care and safe abortion. The Dutch have already pledged $10 million.
