The Palestinian Family Planning & Protection Association (PFPPA) has implemented a national campaign about the risks of unsafe abortion as part of a SAAF project “Together we stand to empower women’s right to have access to safe abortion services and information”. This campaign targeted 545 people from different ages in the project areas (Hebron and Halhoul).
Through coordination and cooperation with a number of schools and community institutions in Hebron Governorate, PFPPA conducted 12 interactive theatre performances under the title “It’s a right … let’s make it a reality” by PFPPA youth volunteers. The theatre performances focused on the importance of the dangers of unsafe abortion, women’s right to access safe abortion services, and the importance of the provision of contraceptive services.
The participants were satisfied from this activity, and their main recommendations to PFPPA included: continuing the work by increasing the number of awareness sessions through theatre activities, and in addition to use these activities to discuss other sexual and reproductive health issues in the future.
نفذت جمعية تنظيم وحماية الأسرة الفلسطينية حملة وطنية لتوعية النساء حول مخاطر الاجهاض غير الامن ضمن مشروع ساف ” معا نقف لتمكين حق المرأة في الوصول إلى خدمات الإجهاض الآمن والمعلومات”. حيث استهدفت هذه الحملة نحو 545 شخص من مختلف الفئات العمرية من مناطق المشروع الخليل وحلحول.
ومن خلال التنسيق مع عدد من المدارس والمؤسسات المجتمعية بمحافظة الخليل قامت جمعية تنظيم وحماية الأسرة الفلسطينية بتنفيذ 12 عرض مسرحي تحت عنوان ” إنه حق فلنجعله حقيقة” بمشاركة مجموعة من متطوعي مركز الخدمات …الصديقة للشباب . و قد سلطت العروض المسرحية الضوء على : أهمية حقوق الصحة الجنسية والإنجابية ، وأهمية مشاركة الرجل للمرأة في تلقي الخدمات الصحية من أجل حماية النساء من مخاطر الإجهاض الغير آمن بالإضافة على أهمية تلقي الرجل للخدمات المتعلقة بالحمل والإنجاب.
و في النهاية عبر المشاركون عن سعادتهم لحضور العروض المسرحية والتي لاقت تفاعلا عاليا فيما بينهم وبين الفريق المسرحي وهذا بدوره أدى إلى خلق شبكة من الانسجام وترك أثر إيجابي في كل من حضر. وكانت هناك جملة من التوصيات من قبل الحاضرين على أن يكون هناك المزيد من العروض المسرحية التي تسلط الضوء على اهم القضايا الاجتماعية والصحية التي تخاطب احتياجات الأفراد في منطقة الخليل.
