Meeting/discussion devoted to 28 September
The Women’s Rights Center organised a meeting-discussion devoted to the Global Day of Action for Safe and Legal Abortion. Women victims of domestic violence, Women’s Rights Center staff and volunteers participated in the meeting. The main aim of the event was to disseminate more information on women’s reproductive health and rights and on safe abortion methods, and information about the day of action itself and what was happening internationally, .
Women mentioned their lack of awareness and knowledge on the issues of reproductive and sexual health and rights. They highlighted its importance as the basis of healthy families. Women were encouraged to take care of their reproductive health, seek help from doctors with any problems and to choose a safe abortion method for terminating an unwanted pregnancy.
